Tom Conway
An artist by training, Tom Conway approaches each project with a distinct flair for composition, detailing and light.
An award-winning architect with extensive experience in residential, commercial and institutional projects, Tom approaches existing structures as artifact. A registered architect and member of The American Institute of Architects (AIA), Tom is also a LEED (USGBC) Accredited Professional (LEED AP), a distinction awarded to architects who display leadership and commitment in the areas of green building and sustainability, and Chairman of the Historic Preservation Commission (HPC) of Summit, New Jersey. After receiving a Bachelor of Environmental Design from Miami University in Ohio, Tom completed a Master of Architecture with a Certificate in Historic Preservation and Planning from the University of Washington. At the University, he was inducted into the Tau Sigma Delta Honor Society in Architecture and Allied Arts and was the recipient of the Thesis Medal in 1992. Tom's interest in historic preservation motivates his passion for regional design and interior restorations. His work is anchored in place, always a modern interpretation informed by tradition and context. In his free time, Tom is an avid skier and outdoorsman.
